There is much to see and do around Portinscale, Keswick and the Northern Lake District – all year round!
If a short or long ramble up into the nearby Fells is your pleasure then there are many walks right from the front door. And it doesn’t always have to be upwards to see some great sights; many of the Lakes have circular, quite level, walks around them and the most local, Derwentwater, can be started or ended at one of the landing stages if you want to hop on one the local launches.
